Craft brewing has been booming especially in Alabama. Yet a majority of those who brew the beer are men. On this episode, Michelle Jones, co-owner of Singin’ River Brewery, comes on to speak about her experiences in brewing. We talk about how she got started, her time spent earning a graduate certificate from Auburn in Brewing Sciences and Operation plus what specific obstacles she has overcome as a woman who owns a craft beer brewery in the South.

The Who’s that lady (from history)? is Mary Lisle, the first brewster in America.
