Sam White, who heads up the theatre company, joined us to talk about what she's learned over the last decade, what it means to take Detroit with you and always come back home wherever you go, and what Detroit uniquely has to offer.
As part of this celebration, they're doing a summer presentation of "Tempest," using the words of Shakespeare and inspired by Techno genius Juan Atkins who is coming to opening night.
The show is free and will be on August 11, 12, 13, 18, 19 & 20, 2023 at Campus Martius in downtown Detroit.
