About the guest

Shady Haze is quite simply one of the most influential, well-regarded, and all-around versatile Content Creator and Cosplayer from Northern Virginia. She is known for her unique take on cosplaying her favorite male characters like; Superboy, Cyclops, Poe Dameron, Aladdin, and Danny Phantom.

For Shady, art and all things geek has always been a heavy influence in her daily life, with collecting comics and figurines when she was six years old and then cosplaying today. Since the start of her Cosplay journey, she has gained multiple skills in crafting cosplays, making armor builds, and creating social media & creative video content.

Shady is proud of being an LGBTQIA+ Asian American woman! She has developed herself as a brand and an extension of “Shady Squad ” into a community for creations, collaborations, and connections, which houses meet-ups, photoshoots, and even virtual events during the pandemic. Shady Haze has been featured in multiple magazine issues like Metro Weekly, Cosplay Alliance, Cosplay Zine & Creative Cosplays Magazine. She’s an all-around badass social media creator who lives by her motto, which is “I Aspire to Inspire.” Shady Haze loves bringing her favorite characters to life in her own way.
