The Tampa Bay Rays lost the series against the San Diego Padres as they dropped Sunday’s game 5-4. Although Yonny Chirinos worked a solid 4.1 innings, the defense behind him was not as stellar as Rays fans are used to seeing. On the offensive side, Manuel Margot and Randy Arozarena had great games, but it was a Fernando Tatis Jr., throw from the outfield that cut a Rays rally short and kept the game in the Padres favor. The Rays will now have a Monday off-day and will be facing the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday evening at the Trop.
