At his first annual physical, he weighed 260 pounds. His doctor tried to prescribe medication for high blood pressure.⁣⁣

He didn’t want a lifetime of medication, so his doctor told him to lose weight. Turns out, that’s much easier said than done. ⁣⁣

He dove into research, but all the conflicting information was overwhelming. Justin hoped living around healthy people would reveal their skinny secrets. ⁣⁣

He moved to San Diego to help a new company market a line of nutrition bars.

On a business trip to Cleveland, he was introduced to Dr. Todd J. Pesek. Dr. Pesek gifted him his book, “Eat Yourself Super.”⁣⁣

Growing up meat was at the center of every plate. Justin wasn’t jazzed about eating all plants, but he was running out of options. He read the book on his flight home – and everything changed. ⁣⁣

With the help of plant-based eating and intermittent fasting, he lost more than 50 pounds, normalized his blood pressure and feels better in his 30s than he did in his 20s. ⁣⁣

Along the way, Justin became certified in Permaculture Design, Exercise Nutrition, Plant-Based Nutrition and Plant-Based Medicine. ⁣⁣
