On this episode, the Retro Movie Geek crew is joined by Dave Umbricht, and are geeking out over Delirious (1991) and the script being too "safe" the cast John Candy a short Bond discussion?? and much, much more! Synopsis: When soap opera writer Jack Gable bumps his head, he wakes up in the small town of Ashford Falls, the setting of his own daytime serial. But what begins as a nightmarish scenario turns into the opportunity of a lifetime as Jack finds he can control the events around him by writing them. That’s where the chaos and hilarity starts, as Jack attempts to win the love of beautiful Emma Samms, who plays the bitchy star of his New York soap opera. But while scripting his destiny with her, he keeps running into – literally – accident-prone good girl Mariel Hemingway. Before he knows it, he’s even more confused than ever! Add a cast of looney characters, and you’ve got the kind of comedy that only John Candy can pull off… the kind that leaves you laughing Deliriously! ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: LISTENER FEEDBACK: Leave us your voicemail feedback at (484) 577-3876.
