In this episode, the Retro Movie Geek crew are joined by Gamma (find more from Gamma here), and they're geeking out over Victor Victoria (1982) and female impersonators the Mandela effect Blazing Saddles likenessesses good comedy & a fantastic cast life stories and much, much more! Synopsis: It’s 1934 and Victoria Grant – played by Julie Andrews – is stranded in Paris. Deserted by her runaway boss, she is penniless, hungry, and eviction looms large on the horizon. A series of bizarre events leads Victoria to team up with Toddy (Robert Preston)! With Toddy as her mentor, Victoria embarks upon a strange new career – a female impersonator with a difference: a woman pretending to be a man impersonating a woman, and so Count Victor Grazinski is born, and becomes the toast of Parisienne nightlife. However, King Marchand (James Garner), the owner of Chicago’s most successful nightclub, is captivated, confused, fascinated… and is determined to discover Victor/Victoria’s secret. Is she a he pretending to be a she, or is he a she pretending to be a he? ...........................................................................................................
