In this Retro selection, we explored Failure. Remember, behind every success story there are multiple failure stories, and that every winner is just a loser that tried one more time. Have you noticed that 'Failure' has become a bit of a 'thing' again? Favoured in tech circles, the whole idea of failing and failing fast has become part of the lifecycle of tech firms, with methodologies being adapted and even created to in the pursuit of getting failing out of the way, or reframing what it means to fail. You may have heard people in business using a new but common vocabulary, 'Agile', 'Pivot', 'Failure Mode Effect Analysis'. We welcome this new attitude to failure, and those of us who have pushed boundaries or pursued a passion know only to well how valuable failing can be.... if you frame it in the right way. Pennie, Jonny and Ruth discuss failure, both in general and in terms of methodology. Let us know what you think about failure, in any context you choose. We find it a fascinating subject, with very broad perspectives and opinions in almost every walk of life. Until next time, Pennie, Jonny and Ruth
