On the very first episode of NYLL Allison, former co-host Sarah and listeners defined the word lady. For the one-year anniversary celebration - which was about two months ago - host Allison wanted to continue that idea of having the freedom to define who you are as a human being. So, for this episode guest Aby Parsons, director of the LGBTQIA Resource Center at Georgia Tech, discusses pronouns. Parsons talks about the history of pronouns, how to learn which pronouns a person uses and why it is important to use correct pronouns for those who identify as transgender or non-binary.

The Who's that lady (from history)? is Sylvia Rivera.

The podcast featured for Listen Here is Good Nightmare.
