On Monday, NY/LA-based saxophonist James Casey, a previous guest on our show, passed away at the age of 40 after battling cancer. He was a longtime member of the Trey Anastasio Band and has played with The Roots, Anderson .Paak, Carly Rae Jepsen, Jon Batiste, Talib Kweli, and many more artists. Today, we bring you a conversation with Angele Russell, senior director of partnerships & health equity at the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, which has worked with Casey on cancer advocacy.
