Submit ReviewLiv is on "holiday!"! A re-airing of two favourite Theseus Was the Worst episodes. First, Theseus is destined to be a hero, he just knows it. He's willing to kill anyone along the way in order to prove it. Then, Theseus is back and badder than ever. He finally encounters the Minotaur and proceeds to leave the woman who helped him on an island. He's just that type of guy.
CW/TW: far too many Greek myths involve assault. Given it's fiction, and typically involves gods and/or monsters, I'm not as deferential as I would be were I referencing the real thing
Sources: Ovid's Metamorphoses translated by Allen Mandelbaum, Mythology: Timeless Tales of Gods and Heroes by Edith Hamilton, Apollodorus' Library of Greek Mythology translated by Robin Hard, The Greek Myths by Robert Graves, Plutarch's Life of Theseus translated by Bernadotte Perrin as found here theoi.com/Text/PlutarchTheseus.html.
