RBTP47 is titled: "Bad to the Bone" because we are loving the original, one-of-a-kind "bone grey" uniform that was (FINALLY) released yesterday. The episode starts with us talking through the schedule and its quirks. But, the leading story here is the uniforms, so we allocated a significant amount of time to the new look. After a 4-year wait and an overwhelming amount of anticipation, Jared Goff accidentally spilled the beans and told Houston Astros third basemen Alex Bregman that the uniforms were being released "tomorrow" (in reference to May 13th) on a Fortnite twitch stream. Goff then scrambled and mumbled "sometime this week", but the news had already traveled through the social media airwaves and Rams fans throughout the world were excited beyond belief to get a glimpse of the new-look. We discuss Kevin Demoff, as he went on a few ESPN radio shows to discuss why this was such a drawn out process and involved so much detail, and we also discuss (former) Rambassador Eric Dickerson's reaction and Super Bowl MVP Kurt Warner's reaction to the rebrand as a whole. Additionally, we talk to THE NEW Rambassador, Jim Everett (crowned by us) to give us his initial gut feeling to the rebrand. Jim also ranks the 6 other teams' uniform updates, he discusses which 4 players he would put on the grand stage from the 1980's to present the new look, he tells us a story about Georgia Frontiere's idea to add lime green into the Rams color scheme, he discusses why Eric Dickerson once referred to him as a "corporate pimp", and takes us through the challenges of the schedule.
