We hear from the opposition in Somaliland, where there have been protests after President Muse Bihi Abdi failed to leave office on Sunday. He was elected in November 2017, and lawmakers voted last month to extend his term by two years, after the failure to hold elections in the self-declared republic.
Plus, the latest on the peace deal signed in South Africa to end the two-year war in Ethiopia. There are fresh concerns over its viability, with some officials from Tigray disowning the agreement.
And we’re in Upper Nile State in South Sudan for the latest on the devastating flooding there. Swathes of farmland are under water, and almost a million people have been displaced.
