Recent police killings of young Black and Latino men coupled with the looming verdict in the Derek Chauvin trial have America on edge. Thousands of protesters have taken to city streets in the past week.

Criminal justice reporter Eric Ferkenhoff and breaking news reporters Grace Hauck and Christine Fernando bring us news from Brooklyn Center, Minnesota and Chicago. In Minneapolis, national correspondent Tami Abdollah has been covering the Derek Chauvin trial since it began in early March. Chauvin faces charges of second degree and third degree murder and manslaughter in the death of George Floyd last May.
