Prince George's County will begin enforcing its curfew for people under 17 years old -- an ordinance that has been on the books since the mid-90s, but hasn't been regularly enforced. County Executive Angela Alsobrooks (D) talks about how she hopes leveraging this tool will reduce carjackings and crime.

Then, D.C. Auditor Kathy Patterson joins Kojo and Tom to talk about a forthcoming report that looks into the District's 911 services. Back in October, the auditor released a report looking at D.C.'s Office of Unified Communications’ emergency call system, finding issues with response time and pinpointing callers' locations. Patterson discusses a new status report from her office that looks into how much progress has been made. Karima Holmes, interim director of D.C.'s Office of Unified Communications, responds to the report.
