The reformist Move Forward party was the 34th political party to be dissolved in Thailand since 2006, despite having won the majority of seats in last year's general elections.

The party’s leader was Pita Limjaroenrat, whose path to political office has also been blocked by the country’s constitutional court - he is now banned from  politics for 10 years.
