On this episode of "Make It Cute" Miles talks about his recommendation of things that you can get for the ones you love in your life as a gift. Miles thought about doing a written gift guide but decided this would be so much more fun and you get to hear the rationale behind why each gift is worth it and special. We put two of the recommended gifts to use to make the cocktail and recipe for this episode, and you'll want to stick around because both will make your mouth water. Christmas Coffee (But Make It Boozy) 1 oz rumchata 1 oz fireball or cinnamon whiskey 2 squares of chocolate 1.5 oz espresso 5 oz almond milk The ratios will depend upon your mug size, however combine hot espresso and chocolate in mug until chocolate is melted. Add in warm milk. Top with rumchata and fireball for a cinnanmony christmasy twist. Enjoy immediately! The Perfect Steak (Not in A Nonstick Pan) 10-12 oz ribeye (1.5"-2" thickness) Butter Thyme Garlic Salt and Pepper Avocado Oil Season steak generously with salt and pepper. Cast iron pan on a hot flame and let it heat. Add in a couple tbsp of high smoke point oil (avocado, sunflower, peanut, etc.) Cook steak fat cap side first (30-45 secs), then cook steak on first side for two minutes, flip, cook another two minutes, flip again. Then add a good knob of butter and aromatics of choice (crushed garlic and thyme). Baste steak for 2 minutes, flip. Place aromatics on top of steak, continue to baste (2 more minutes) or until internal temperature is about 120F. Rest steak on board for 8-10 minutes until internal temp reads 125F for medium rare. Slice against the grain, serve with butter from the pan on top. (Please put the steak sauce down, I'm watching you) Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
