Paul Simon’s ‘Surprise’ with Tim Heidecker on Late Era. In this new episode, the guys are joined by special guest Tim Heidecker, who helps them go deep on Paul Simon’s ‘Surprise,’ a 2006 collaboration with Brian Eno that paired Simon’s classic folk-pop songwriting with slick electronica, adding breakbeats and synthesizers to musings about spirituality, aging, and the afterlife.
