Both parental alienation & interparental hatred are confronting, heartbreaking and exhausting, but is the unfortunate reality for so many parents on a coparenting journey. Trying to navigate coparenting can be challenging in the best of circumstances, and it is sad, but not uncommon to find yourself coming up against really difficult, controlling and overwhelming behaviours by your coparent.
In today's conversation, we talk about what it means to be going through parental alienation, what you can do, how you can support your children, and how you can learn to try and live with things that are outside of your control. We also talk about interparental hatred which is a really big and heavy topic. There is a lot of crossover between these themes and Domestic Violence, so please be advised that this could be a triggering episode - we urge you to practice listener discretion when deciding if this episode is safe for you to listen to.
As mentioned in the episode, Parker Coles Curtis are offering free 30 minute consultations for a limited number of listeners who get in touch and mention this episode.
