Cannabis culture legend Rick Naya The Great Grandfather of Hybrid Cannabis joins the show to discuss his ongoing work in the industry, and his new radio show. Rick talks about his long held passion for cannabis, and why he decided to dedicate his entire life to it. Rick shares some stories of breeding back decades ago, and how the landscape was wildly different back then, with much less variety of strains and much less education. He goes on to talk about some of his most famous work including the widely renowned Gainesville Green. Rick discusses how the old school breeders laid the framework for those working in the industry now, and how we owe a debt of gratitude to the illegal growers who suffered during prohibition.
