Also this hour: Rachel Held Evans was a 37-year-old Christian evangelical writer with an ability to both challenge orthodoxy within the religion and bridge the political divide between conservative and progressive followers. She died this past week from complications of an infection. We pay her tribute.
Lastly, today's UN report on biodiversity makes a direct link between human behavior and the faster than expected extinction of thousands of animal and plant species. Today's report coincides with a new Yale-led study showing that thousands of species of amphibians will go extinct faster than expected if we don't take action now.
