Brandon Woodruff returned from the injured list on Tuesday after just over a month away dealing with an ankle issue and newly discovered Raynaud's Syndrome. His start was a welcomed sight for the Brew Crew: five dominant innings with ten strikeouts and no walks en route to the win as the Brewers won 5-3 over the Rays. The start was the fifth time in Woodruff's career he reached double-digit strikeouts without yielding a walk. Kolten Wong also returned for the Brewers and added a key double in the big sixth inning for the Crew that put them in front for good. A pair of two-run homers from Andrew McCutchen and Luis Urías led the way for Milwaukee in the opener of the road trip.
