Sawyer Nunes is a 14 year old musical powerhouse. Not only does he hold two Broadway credits for Matilda and Finding Neverland, but just last week he released his first EP, “Songs I Wrote In My Room.” Sawyer wrote and arranged all the music, played all the instruments, engineered the recording, and mixed and mastered the whole project as well. In his bedroom. No big deal, right? Sawyer and I have worked together for a few years with Cabaret for a Cause and I have always been fascinated and inspired by his talent and remarkable maturity as an artist and as a human. I’m super excited to share this interview with you, I’m sure you’ll agree that he’s a really exceptional person. Speaking of Cabaret for a Cause, we have an event coming up on November 27th at The Cutting Room benefitting Project Renewal and their En Casa program for families. Thanks, as always, for listening to the podcast and if you like what you hear, tell a friend!
