Submit ReviewChris Carter, NFL and NCAAF analyst, hosts the Locked on Steelers podcast, and is joined by Mark Bergin, host of the Bleav in Steelers podcast.
The Pittsburgh Steelers just finished rookie camp where Mike Tomlin got to see Kenny Pickett's first steps as an NFL quarterback. But recent comments from Tomlin revealed why the Steelers valued Pickett so high, and might provide insight into how Pickett was overlooked by other NFL teams for leadership and character qualities that weren't obvious unless you had the kind of access the Steelers have to Pitt football.
How that could lead to early success for Pickett, even if he's not the immediate starter over Mitch Trubisky or Mason Rudolph and how George Pickens and Calvin Austin III got started with their rookie camp appearances.
