Glass half full: We need one more magical night from the Mets at Citi Field. David Peterson is on the mound tonight so we should be thinking positively. Glass half empty: the Mets can’t score on the Dodgers pitching. Boomer said the Mets lost the confidence or whatever they had the last two games. Pitchers don’t want to throw strikes, they’ve had base running gaffes and fielding gaffes. They look like they got punched in the face. The Mets need some sort of momentum with David Peterson on the mound. Both Boomer and Gio said they trust him in this spot. The two starters for tonight’s Yankees/Guardians game haven’t pitched since September. Gio thinks they should be able to throw 200 pitches if that’s the case. Jerry returns for his final update of the day and starts with a message from Frank The Tank about the Mets game 5 tonight. Carlos Mendoza talked about the Dodgers lineup controlling the strike zone. We heard from John Sterling when Judge and Stanton went back to back. We also heard Sterling as Noel homered to tie it in the ninth and David Fry homered in the bottom of the tenth. The Moment of The Day: Future streaming services may have very odd names. In the final segment of the hour, our NFL Picks!
