Are there any other coffee shops that offer a Philosophers Night? And is it ok to challenge accepted societal,religious or atheistic views? What lead Steve Snook, owner and founder of Metropolis to form this type of event as part of a coffee shop? Baristas, mentors, or both. What everyone at Metropolis has to say about customers,workers and the intangible double meaning of “service”. There are no strangers here even on a first visit. Do most coffee store owners know the backstory to their customers? Example: Who is Patty, and why is Metropolis like home to her. A true part of the family, was Jack able to “let go?” Cross Country Coffee Roadshow has come to the end of season one. We’ve had a wonderful journey, met fabulous people, and have listened to stories from the heartfelt, to the hilarious. Thank you to everyone who trusted us with your stories, invited us into your coffee shops, and lives You provided us with hospitality, love and laughs, while giving us more than enough material to complete this first season In order to have a season two we now have to ask for your help. We want you to buy us a cup  of coffee. We have done this through a GoFundme page,titled $5 to cross the country with coffee. If we are successful season two will begin recording at the end of this May and back on the air with new episodes, in the Fall of this year.
