This week Katie welcomes Maryam Ajayi to the podcast. Maryam is a powerful woman, she’s an entrepreneur, a reiki healer, medium and activist. Growing up in a politically conservative house hold she was drawn to a career in Washington DC where she worked in republican lobbying. Maryam talks about her work and even spilled some tea about partying in capital hill and even crushing on John Boehner. But after politics took a toll on her she transitioned to tech. It wasn’t long before her true calling started drawing her away from the corporate world. She found herself studying reiki and breath work, and being the business woman she is found away to bring both her worlds together. She founded Dive In Well, and organization that is working to make the wellness industry more inclusive. Maryam is truly using her powers for change!
