Submit ReviewThis week on the podcast, we talk about the impact negative self-image can have on our lives, especially where children, and young women are concerned. Host Eva Hartling speaks with Margot Denommé, a criminal lawyer with over 20 years of experience. During her time in court, she witnessed firsthand the devastating effects of poor choices made by young people with low self-esteem. As a mother of two girls, Margot was struck by the unrealistic and distorted images of “beauty” perpetuated by social media which inspired her to write children's stories that bolster confidence by teaching children to be strong, kind, inclusive, and unique. Margot now brings this content directly to schools and community groups throughout Canada and the US.
