Submit ReviewThere is a lot of unfamiliarity and uncertainty facing the Arizona State Sun Devils football program and that is especially true for the team's passing offense. Gone are wide receivers Ricky Pearsall, LV Bunkley-Shelton, and Johnny Wilson via the NCAA transfer portal, as well as running back Rachad White and tight end Curtis Hodges, both of whom had big roles in the team's passing offense in 2021, via the 2022 NFL Draft. Returning are Bryan Thompson and Andre Johnson as the Arizona State Sun Devils' most established wide receivers, although the two combined for just 25 receptions a season ago. While we are optimistic about the two taking a step forward in 2022, our eyes are fixated on incoming transfer wide receiver Cam Johnson from the Vanderbilt Commodores football program. Johnson has shown the ability to be a crafty and elusive receiver when the ball is in his hands and has the sure-hands necessary to be a go-to option in any team's passing game. Johnson may be a breath of fresh air that the Arizona State Sun Devils football program is desperate for and could perhaps prove to be the team's number one receiver in 2022. Host Richie Bradshaw breaks down the fifth-year receiver and gives stat predictions for the former SEC wide receiver in his first season with the Arizona State Sun Devils.
