The Los Angeles Chargers strapped on the pads for the first time Monday and the true evaluations in the trenches began. Rookie guard Zion Johnson showed a bit of why he was taken in the first round and Khalil Mack showed that he still has plenty of gas in the tank. Wide receiver Josh Palmer had his best day of camp so far, and was Justin Herbert’s favorite target. The guys discuss his breakout practice and if he has gained some separation on Jalen Guyton in the battle of wide receiver three. One group that must improve for the Chargers in 2022 is the kicking game and special teams. Dan and David get into the performances of kicker Dustin Hopkins and punter JK Scott and how much they could improve a poor special teams unit.
