The winner of the Mets/Brewers series goes to Philadelphia and Gio ‘wants a piece of that’. Boomer hates that Edwin Diaz doesn’t cover first base and doesn’t hold guys on base, but he loved that he demanded to stay in the game. The Brewers have a great bullpen so the Mets have to get on them early. A caller said he would give his ‘left nut’ for Geno Smith or Sam Darnold for the Giants. Jerry returns for his final update of the day and starts with the sounds of the Mets beating the Braves. Jerry also has the sounds of Jared Goff going 18-for-18 last night as the Lions beat the Seahawks. Dan Campbell didn’t even give him a game ball as he didn’t realize he was perfect. The Moment of The Day: Deion Sanders, Shannon Sharpe and Ochocinco try to pronounce the name of the Falcons kicker. In the final segment of the show, Gio wonders if having David Stearns against the Brewers gives us any advantage. We have some baseball cliches on what the Mets need to do to beat the Brewers.
