In Star Trek news, Facebook thinks Shawn might know Voyager's Bob Picardo. The TNG episode Shades of Grey isn't that bad if you're hardly paying attention to it. Code of Honor would have been a fine episode had it not been for the racial casting. December 31 marks the 800th episode of Star Trek. Discovery's The Sanctuary (episode 8) had some cool scenes but wasn't that memorable. The DS9 documentary, What We Left Behind may be getting a sequel, and the Voyager doc should be out in 2021.

Warner Brothers will be releasing all of their 2021 movies in theatres and on HBO Max the same day. This will cause a spectacular disruption to the theatre going experience.

Oscar Isaac has been cast as Solid Snake. The Metal Gear Solid movie has been in the works for years, but now we are getting some solid progress.

Elon Musk says SpaceX could reach Mars in 2024 or 2026. These will be human-crewed flights.

The Arecibo Array collapsed this week. There is footage of the moment of destruction everywhere online.

China's chang'e 5 mission collected lunar samples this week. No samples from the moon have been collected in decades.

Japan's Gundam Factory Yokohama is operational. There is footage of a 59 foot tall Gundam in action.
