Submit ReviewContent Warning: Story contains imagery of animals being killed, not for cruelty but for basic human survival during pioneer times. Welcome to this cozy fireside bedtime story with soothing soft voice to doze off to sleep. This is chapter 1 of the beautiful book 'Little House in the Big Woods'. This book is what started the treasured "Little House Series including 'Little House on the Prairie' by Laura Ingalls Wilder ❤This was a request story and I hope you enjoy it. If you want more chapters then please let me know? I used to love this series and it is such a joy reading it! So light's out and sweet dreamzzz...Joanne ❤P.S. I personally was torn about sharing the story because I knew it wasn’t vegan friendly Please don’t misunderstand, I love animals too! Yet, after some reflection, I decided to proceed to share this story because I was able to accept that the killing of animals wasn’t for cruelty but for survival during pioneer times. Similar to many other cultures that needed to survive in the 1800’s and beyond. It was a different life from what we live now and I still feel it is important to learn about the hardships humans had to overcome in order to survive Also, these stories bring comfort to many listeners who grew up reading and watching these series. My dear friends...please 'do not' listen if you are sensitive to imagery involving the killing of animals. It is never my intention to cause you any harm! Sending love to you all!
