Rock Talk With Mitch Lafon presents part II of my chat with legendary guitarist, Bernie Marsden. This episode is being posted on May 7th 2020. Bernie was born on May 7th 1951 - and so, HAPPY BIRTHDAY BERNIE.

In this episode, we pick up where we left off with legendary guitarist, Bernie Marsden, after the recently aired PART I. We discuss the different incarnations of Whitesnake and break it down to 'European Whitesnake' and 'American Whitesnake', why Whitesnake a band or a solo venture, why is Ready An' Willing so special, producer Martin Birch, joining Whitesnake, Paul McCartney & Wings, remembering Tony Ashton, Hobo or Drifter, and much more. "When you know that David Coverdale is going to be singing on top of all that; you're just looking at each other and just smiling. So that was the camaraderie."

"Slide It In is a different record to me and I'm kind of glad I'm not part of it (with all due respect). I bowed out with Saints & Sinners with Here I Go Again and that'll do me."

"I always look back at Ready An' Willing with great love. I think it's a really good strong rock blues album."
