On today's Locked On Giants podcast, host Ben Kaspick talks about three things we learned this weekend with the San Francisco Giants. The first thing we learned is that LaMonte Wade Jr. is having a breakout season. He hit two more home runs and a double on Sunday, bringing his isolated power up to an elite level. He appears to be the Giants' latest diamond in the rough finding.

The second thing we learned is that Kevin Gausman had another bad start, and the Pirates gave the Giants all kinds of problems in this series. Gausman didn't have a feel for his splitter, and this followed a bad start against the Dodgers in his last outing. He'll look to get back on track this week against either Los Angeles or Houston.

The third thing we learned was about the health status of a number of Giants. Giants broadcaster Duane Kuiper returned after a lengthy absence to call Saturday and Sunday's games. He surprised best friend and fellow broadcaster Mike Krukow in a heartwarming moment that was captured on camera. We also received health updates of Brandon Crawford, Brandon Belt, Tommy La Stella, Evan Longoria, and Aaron Sanchez, all of whom are relatively close to returning.
