In this episode of Dealcast Julie-Anna is joined by the Asia-Pacific M&A team, Lisha Zhou, Managing Editor in China and Ed Vinales, M&A Editor in Hong Kong, to discuss Cisco's bid for Acacia which was announced in late 2019. This semiconductor deal is particularly sensitive in China due to the China/US trade technology war. Regulatory approval had been slow and has required lots of remedies, but due to surging trading performances in peers, a revised deal was on the table. Dealcast is presented by Mergermarket and SS&C Intralinks.
