Tonight, we’re hosting the hustings for the Just Transition Lobby, the informal powerhouse network of individuals and organisations dedicated to shaking things up in the built environment sector. We’re on a mission to enact urgent change, and we need you to be part of it!

Remember when we made waves by electing the youngest, first worker, and first Black president, Muyiwa Oki? 🌊 Well, we’re ready to ride that wave of success to make even more progressive changes in the RIBA and beyond.

We strongly believe that the RIBA Council must truly represent the public and the architectural workers that form the backbone of our profession. We’re looking at you, students, associates, and recently qualified architects who make up a third of the total membership! 📣 No more being underrepresented and underserved! You’ve got a voice, and we’re here to make sure it’s heard.

This year, we’re stepping up our game, aiming to radically reshape the RIBA and eventually tap into the election cycles of other built environment institutes, like the RTPI, RICS, and more.

Our campaign – The Just Transition Lobby – is anchored around three key themes. And we’re super stoked to unpack these with you during the livestream.

Come join us as we break down barriers and build a brighter, more inclusive future in the built environment sector. Be part of the change, be part of the Just Transition Lobby! 🚀🌍

Don’t forget to check out our previous call to action, where we dive deep into the why behind our presidential campaign. Get ready, set, go!
