We begin this episode by discussing the Love is Love comic anthology that was created in remembrance of those affected. Next, we provide a brief overview of LGBTQ+ history within the field of psychology and discuss how discrimination negatively impacts mental health. Finally, we discuss some ways that mental health professionals can work toward reducing discrimination toward LGBTQ+ people.
