We spent the month reading his acclaimed new novel, The Heaven & Earth Grocery Store, which tells the story of Black and Jewish communities in Pottstown, Pennsylvania who come together to protect a Deaf child from institutionalization. McBride speaks about the book, and takes questions from our audience.
