The Chicago White Sox (81-80) beat the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday night by a score of 8-3. The victory secured at least a .500 record for the White Sox this season. Sox starter, Lucas Giolito, finished the season strong. He had a quality outing, going 7 innings and only giving up 2 runs. White Sox offense provided more than enough. Yoan Moncada, Eloy Jimenez, and Jose Abreu each had a double in the game. For Abreu, it was his 40th double of the season. In the fourth inning, Elvis Andrus hit a three run homerun to put things out of reach. Wednesday is the season finale but is it also the last time Jose Abreu will be in a White Sox uniform? Abreu's contract is up and his future with the team is uncertain. Abreu has spent all nine of his MLB seasons on the South Side.
