What does it mean to be an embodied black woman in technology spaces? What is techno-womanism? Do spirituality and liberation have a place in our conversations about technology? To answer these questions and more The Radical AI Podcast welcomes Shamika Goddard to the show.

Shamika was born and raised in San Antonio, TX, and is the oldest of four children. Attending math and engineering camps for fun in junior high and high school, Shamika was excited about learning and eager to help save the world. After graduating from Stanford University, she served a year with AmeriCorps through Reading Partners in Queens and decided to stay in New York City. She went on to study technology and ethics at Union Theological Seminary in the city of New York and is thrilled to be serving others as a Tech Chaplain.
