In September 2017, Jason Drury talked to Nic Raine via Skype at his home in Germany. During the interview, Raine talks about the many collaborations in his career including his first meeting with John Barry, his work on silent film scores with Carl Davis and James Bernard, his film score re-constructions, the Wallace & Gromit films, Star Wars: The Clone Wars and more.
Also during the show, there is plenty of music from films that Raine has worked on as an orchestrator including THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS, ENIGMA, MAD MAX BEYOND THUNDERDOME, NAPOLEAN, and NOSFERATU. You’ll also hear selections from Raine conducted performances of THE BLUE MAX. EL CID, and THE PRIVATE LIFE OF SHERLOCK HOLMES.
