"Concrete Utopia" had its North American premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, where it received positive reviews for its strong storytelling of class struggle, its powerful performances from its ensemble cast, and the epic-scaled production design showcasing Seoul in the aftermath of an earthquake that devastates the entire city except for one high-rise apartment building.
