This week on Inside the Arts, members of the Manhattan Chamber Players are heading back to New Orleans for the 4th annual Crescent City Chamber Music Festival. They will be joined by the Lysander Trio and the Classical crossover duo Sonic Escape performing in a series of free public concerts. We catch up with New Orleans native, violist and festival founding artistic director Luke Fleming by phone. Then, the Marigny Opera Ballet opens its 6th season with an original ballet based on Shakespeare's play, A Midsummer Night's Dream. Artistic director Dave Hurlbert joins us with rising star choreographer Derwin May, Jr. And, another work by the Bard continues its run in the Great Hall of the New Orleans Museum of Art. The NOLA Project's modern verse presentation of Shakespeare's, Measure for Measure, is in final performances. We talk with director Mark Routhier and actor Michael Bartelle. Airs Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m., Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m., and Thursdays at 8:45 a.m.
