Correction: An earlier version of this story erroneously stated that voters would decide this election cycle whether abortion will be legal in the state. Voters WILL decide whether abortion is protected in the state Constitution. There are also ongoing court battles over the 1931 law that are currently upholding legal abortion in the state.

In just a couple of days, Michiganders will vote on Proposition 3: a plan to embed abortion and other reproductive rights in state’s constitution. For people on either side of the abortion debate, this is a huge moment. Last week, we heard about what it's like to be at at one of Michigan's abortion clinics.

This week we're taking you to a small office in Dearborn Heights that houses the Lennon Center. It's a place where women call or visit every week when they’re pregnant, and they don’t know what to do about it.

To be clear, this is an organization that opposes abortion. And it’s one of many in the state that you might hear called “crisis pregnancy centers." Stateside recently spent some time there to hear about what this center in Dearborn Heights does, and how the staff there is feeling about this moment of uncertainty for legal abortion.
