The Ottawa Senators did not make a pick in the 1st Round of the 2022 NHL Draft and that's fine because they acquired Alex DeBrincat! Rumours were swirling that the Sens were going to use the pick to dump Matt Murray's contract to Buffalo but Murray nixed that deal due to his No Trade Clause thankfully.
