Welcome, friendly Nation Citizens, to a brand new episode of Oilersnation Radio to get you up to date on the smoking hot Edmonton Oilers. This week, we were very lucky to welcome Ryder from Power 107 on a Mary Brown's pop-in to talk a little bit about life and a whole lot about hockey.   To kick off this week's podcast, we started off with a look at the Oilers 4-0 start and whether or not Oilers fans are getting carried away with their hot start. Seeing as the team stole the win in New Jersey, we thought it was fair to wonder whether this success is real or not. From there, we got all caught up on the James Neal vs Milan Lucic trade, including a look at the boxscores to see if we can officially declare the Oilers one-for-one winners. This kicked off the start of my "Thank You, Calgary" campaign where I'll be filling out cards of appreciation for Flames management after every goal the Real Steal scores this season. Lastly, we looked at the Media Challenge Ryder is participating in on October 16th and what it was like for him to get out of his comfort zone on the radio and onto the stage to do stand up comedy in front of a live audience. Tickets for the show are still available with the aim of raising money for Free Footie.
