Rainier is center screen tonight at the Egyptian theater on Capitol Hill — not the mountain, but the Beer. It’s the subject of the new documentary Rainier: A Beer Odyssey. The film is part oral history of Seattle in the 70s and 80s and part love letter to Vitamin R.

Today on the show, Seattle Now producer Clare McGrane tells the story of how the documentary came to be, and helped save a piece of Washington history along the way.
