A new study shows how critical the formative years of preschool are in keeping kids out of the youth justice system.

The Pathways to Prevention Project ran for a decade in a disadvantaged area of Brisbane. The level of support families and kids recieved during this program was linked to a 50% reduction in the likelihood of children entering the youth justice system.
