Submit ReviewThe Oilers are back out on the road after a frustrating homestand, which means we had plenty to talk about on the brand new Tuesday episode of Oilersnation Radio. On today’s show, we’re talking about another painful loss, the Oilers' disastrous penalty kill, what needs to change on this road trip, and a whole lot more.
To kick off this week’s Tuesday podcast, we got started with a conversation about how confident we are that the Oilers will still be able to make the playoffs. As you will hear, there are some of us that still think the playoffs are coming, but there are others that don't feel quite so sure. Sticking with last night's loss to the Kings, we then touched on the fights that happened in the back half of the game, and why it took until the back half of the season to start playing pissed off. We also spent some time on Jay Woodcroft's decision to pull Stuart Skinner after the third power play goal, and whether it was the right decision considering he was flying home afterward for the birth of his first child. From there, we looked ahead at the rest of the Oilers' road trip — they play three more divisional games against Anaheim, San Jose, and Vegas — and what needs to happen to make sure there's something positive to cheer about. Lastly, we wrapped up the Tuesday episode of Oilersnation Radio with another scintillating round of Word Association after Tyler put literally minutes into putting this together.
